They may think you’re going out of business, you can’t afford staff to maintain your marketing plan, or you simply don’t have the stick-to-it-iveness to be a good businessperson. All of these scenarios are off-putting. (more…)

Why Do I Need a Dental Library on My Website?

Friday, January 29th, 2010

beliveau-faqsWith a gold or platinum website, TNT offers a patient education page that includes links to library articles. About 100 articles are available to choose from. They’re written by dental copywriters who understand search engine optimization, but they’re easy to read for the general public. Here are the pros and cons of a dental library on your website:

  • Pro – It provides rich educational information for your patients.
  • Con – Articles are stock, not customized, so editing is limited.
  • Pro – The additional text, even though it’s duplicated on other sites, seems to do well on search engines in more rural areas.
  • Con – Duplicate text can, traditionally, work against search engine optimization.
  • Pro – The more patients know about your services before their visit, the more targeted and educated they’ll be – which leads to higher case acceptance rates.
  • Con – Sometimes, when patients know more, they ask more questions. This can make appointments a little longer than normal. (more…)
